Sweet As Honey

Hollar Seeds is excited to share news about our great new line of Hybrid Honey Dews.

 

In recent trials in multiple locations in Mexico, Dewlightful, Dewlectable (HSR 4333) and Dewluxe (HSR 4340) met the approval of the trial evaluators.  All three varieties earned scores equal to or greater than the current commercial varieties in multiple locations.

  

In Sonora, Mexico Dewlightful showed 13% soluble sugars and had the highest rating for seed cavity size.  In Paila, Mexico, Dewlightful was earlier, had better plant coverage and vigor as well as a higher PSI rating than the current commercial variety.  Dewlectable also stood up well when compared to the commercial variety in having great plant vigor and plant cover.
