2010 Modesto Field Days

From August 16^th through the 20^th, Hollar Seeds held our annual field days in Modesto, California. This year we had a record attendance and we appreciate everyone who was able to take time to visit us.

Here are some exciting new varieties from Hollar Seeds, that look very promising: Pumpkin Corvette PMR, Summer Squash Deema, Melon Holbrook, Summer Squash Alexandria, Gourd Spoon Platoon, Vegetable Spaghetti Pinnacle, Honeydew Dewlightful and Butternut Victory. Along with these great new varieties, we also have up and coming varieties such as new Crimson Sweet type watermelons with a very intense rind and deep red flesh, elongate seedless watermelons, productive honeydews and a yellow crookneck squash with powdery mildew resistance.

Hollar Seeds’ expanding popularity and rapid growth have made our trials a must see event each year. Mark your calendar for our 2011 Field Days that will be held in Rocky Ford, Colorado. Hope to see you there!
