Its best feature is a dependable heavy crown set of uniform fruit which provides a once-over harvest with a low cull rate. The fruits are large, 20 to 25 pounds, blocky in shape and have strong rinds for shipping.

The flesh is sweet, fine textured and bright medium red. The planting seed are large for strong emergence but the seed in the harvested fruit are small for improved shelf life.
